“Man Fan Laa” could be translated from Wolof (Senegalese dialect) by “Me where am I? " It is the question from six Senegalese men, like a cry of revolt.
In Man Fan Laa, artists draw on their culture, transform their everyday objects (basins, wood, bags of rice...) in multiple apparatus, and plunge far into their roots.
The spirit of SenCirk finds its strength in the originality of its practice of circus arts, uninhibited and imbued with unrivaled freedom. The physical performance of circus performers, raw and without net, stages a form of beauty, both free and spiritual.
